Is this run possible? If it is how much would this cost and how long would it take? Thanks.

I don't think so. To get to Vabbi you have to unlock certain events and explorable areas by completing missions, similar to in Factions.
I don't know if someone with those areas unlocked might be able to override that for you if they were the party leader, though.

It looks like it would be possible to run up through the desolation and go around and hit Kodash though.

I once had a guy (clearly using some sort of exploit) run me from the Sunspear Sanctuary all the way to Kodash via the desolation route. He charged 5k and insisted no one died or followed him (to see his trick). That was about a year ago, so take that for what it is worth...

It can be done by someone who has unlocked worm travel. You cannot run yourself there unless you can travel by worms through the desert. The person charging 5k rode a worm through the desolation.

They stopped that a long time ago.

Dre's video is how you do it with two people. You can also go A/Rt or D/Rt with lively was naomi and run from spot to spot on the sulfur. If you die the pot resses you then you recast and continue on. The run before and after that part is normal running. The only reason to get a run to desolation and kodash is to get armor/caps cuz you can't skip the storyline and continue from there.

runs in continents other than tyria are generally not practical or possible because you often have to progress through missions to gain access to certain areas.

I can do the duo bar if i get a friend, havent tried the D/Rt bar but would be willing to try. If duo would only charge 4k+tips for the essence, D/Rt would be tips if wanted. If interested feel free to pm an ign

Edit: it took around 20 mins or so for my first desolation run as duo. that is a rough estimate, I havent timed myself exactly.

No, it won't let you in the wurm if anyone in the party has not "tamed the Queen" (Gate of Desolation mission).

Anyway, getting from kourna to vabbi is so fast and easy that getting a runner would make you spend more time I believe. You can do all those missions in maybe 2 hours.
